Hunter Hunted “Ready For You” Album Review

One of my favorite indie groups, Hunter Hunted, dropped their debut album this past weekend. If you like Passion Pit and/or Foster the People, I can guarantee you’ll like these guys. This duo from Los Angeles does an exceptional job on their album blending vocals and synths together to come up with an awesomely unique sound. From start to finish, these guys have produced one of the best indie rock albums in quite some time.

Lucky Day, my personal favorite song on the album, has a simple ukulele riff, and is quite reminiscent of American Author’s Best Day of My Life. Other highlights include Gentle Folks, Ghost and Ready For You. Look for their music to hit contemporary radio soon.
