Top 100 Songs of 2015 (60-41)

We’ve reached Day 3 on our Top 100 songs countdown! Only two more days until the number one song of 2015 is revealed! Be sure to check out 100-81 and 80-61.

60. Bills by Lunchmoney Lewis

Lunchmoney Lewis was one of the breakout artists of 2015, and this was the song that got the people going.

59. R.I.C.O by Meek Mill ft. Drake

In some ways, this was one of the most important tracks of the year. Meek Mill called out Drake for not hyping up their duet, which led to huge consequences for Meek Mill, but more on that later.

58. Monaco by Audien ft. Rumors

One of the biggest house anthems of the year; a real scorcher from the up and coming DJ.

57. Guys and Girls by Easton Corbin

It’s a shame that this song has yet to be picked up by country radio. On a disappointing album by Easton Corbin, this was the pick of the litter.

56. Touch Me by Avicii

Avicii is here on the countdown again with another song off of Stories. Again, Avicii takes his music in a different direction than his usual stuff, making this a pleasant surprise.

55. I Took A Pill in Ibiza (SeeB Remix) by Mike Posner, SeeB

While the remix lacks the vulnerability that the first one brings, this one just bumps. It doesn’t matter that the lyrics are quite dismal, it’s just sweet.

54. Stay by Kygo

Kygo switches it up from his usual mellow trop-house sound to make it a little more rowdy.

53. It Wasn’t Me (Viceroy Jet Life Remix) by Shaggy, Viceroy

Just listen to this song and try not to have a good time; you can’t!

52. Want to Want Me by Jason Derulo

You know the song, and you know it’s good — end of story.

51. 679 by Fetty Wap ft. Remy Boyz

First time I heard this song, I hated it. Now I cannot stop listening to it. All aboard the Fetty Wap bandwagon!

50. Bad For You by Waterloo Revival

Two minutes and thirty seconds of non-stop action! This emerging country duo takes you for a ride.

49. Slip Slide by Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Busta Rhymes with a jazzy background is just too good. B.o.B can handle it pretty well too.

48. Energy by Drake

Drake finally put his his emotional garbage away and got cocky, and cocky Drake is just amazing.

47. New York Raining by Charles Hamilton ft. Rita Ora

Charles Hamilton came out of the woodwork to drop a jam with Rita Ora.

46. Down on My Luck by Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa had a groundbreaking 2015 dropping three legitimate bangers. He looks set to dominate the rap game when his new album Traffic gets released.

45. Stick Around by Akon & Matoma

Akon is back! His style vibes well with the trop-house song Matoma brings, and the auto-tune is a nice touch for the electronic based song.

44. Cool by Alesso, Roy English

Here’s another song where the piano is instrumental in house music. A really good track from the former frontman of Swedish House Mafia.

43. Simple Things (Remix) by Miguel ft. Chris Brown, Future

The mix of these three is almost flawless. Miguel and Chris Brown’s soul is a great contrast to Future’s mumbling.

42. Crash and Burn by Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett has started to create his own R&B and Country genre. His modern take on country music is going to be interesting to see progress.

41. Broken Arrows by Avicii ft. Zac Brown

The mix of Avicii and Zac Brown is a bit startling at first, but it’s genius. The country twang of Zac Brown matches up well with Avicii’s production.

Only 2 more days left until the #1 song of the year is crowned! Be sure to stay tuned.
